This page explains the basic information Backyard Bettors may collect during the Free Beta and as the service evolves.
WHAT WE COLLECT
We may collect information you submit directly, such as your email address and account details. When paid subscriptions are enabled, payment information will be processed by the payment provider rather than stored directly on the Backyard Bettors website.
HOW WE USE IT
Information may be used to deliver picks and emails, manage accounts, provide customer support, improve the service, and protect the site from misuse.
SERVICE PROVIDERS
Backyard Bettors may use third-party providers for hosting, authentication, database storage, email delivery, analytics and payment processing. Those providers may process information as needed to provide their services.
PRELAUNCH NOTE
Parts of the current prototype may store demo preferences in your browser using local storage. Local browser data is not the same as a live subscriber account and can be removed by clearing site data in your browser.
CONTACT
A dedicated privacy/contact email should be added before any future paid launch. Until then, do not submit sensitive financial, medical or identity information through the site.
